About the Game
Mono No Aware is a game that is meant to be a (fun to play) commentary on anxiety and depression in the modern age.
Players take on the role of June, who sucked into her phone when a freak bolt of lightning hits, transporting her into the dungeon of her own mind.
Locked in the dungeon June meets Cro, the antagonist on a quest to take control of June and go to... Sephora?
Developed by a one-person-team, Mono No Aware was developed first as a thesis project and is now being expanded into a full game. Research was done on anxiety and depression in order to put real components of each into the game.
